Mom and Dad come to Boston Part 2

On Friday, on our way home from Vermont. We stopped by Camp and Carl’s Diner…mmm.

IMG_6028ps Seriously, this place if OFF THE HOOK. My meal, 5 large pancakes, home fries and 7 oversized sausages…all for 7$. Mom and Dad both got omelets and home fries. This is soooo not on my marathon diet.

The bathroom is almost as good as the food :)

Next, to camp!

IMG_6034ps It was so good to go to camp. Mom and Dad met Steve, Camp Joslin Director and I ran into Josh, who I haven’t seen in over a year!! I miss camp….and all my camp brothers :(

After camp, we headed to Salem…which was kind of a disappointment. We were going to go on a trolley tour but they got our tickets mixed up. So, we just ended up walking to The House of Seven Gables then headed back to Boston.

The next morning, we headed down to Newport RI. Dad rented, a trusty scooter while Mom and I walked around the town and toured Breakers, one of the Newport Mansions. The weather was beautiful and the mansions and scenery was incredible.

IMG_6041ps This is probably my most favorite picture of the trip. Dad was so excited to get his scooter and had so much fun riding around town on it :)

Mom and I didn’t realize that there was parking right next to the mansion we wanted to tour, so we ended up walking 30min to get to the mansion…which we probably needed after eating at Carl’s the day before.

After we got back into town, we went to Bartley’s Burgers for dinner.
